QUEENS COUNTY, NS -
The Cram the Cruiser community food drive took place Dec. 16 and was a partnership with the Queens County RCMP detachment; Kim Masland, MLA for Queens-Shelburne; and the Liverpool Superstore.
The cruiser got filled, and there was even some overflow. Additionally, there were lots of cash donations. The Superstore donated to the cause as well and provided cake and cider to customers.
Annette Burke, Masland’s constituency assistant, said the food bank was “pleased and grateful.”
“The store manager, Ryan Brinson, was instrumental in organizing and publicizing things on his end,” said Burke. “A true team effort.”
