“We will be looking to improve the course measurement accuracy as the 5- kilometre distance came up short. We will also be exploring timing services and the possibility of a post race reception in the airport lounge.”

An event wrap up meeting is scheduled for later this month with the YQI staff and search and rescue volunteers. The date for next year’s flight/run will be confirmed at that time.

The one kilometre course was popular with youth.
