DIGBY, NS – Digby’s harbour has lost one of its most beloved figures, Fred ‘Bunk’ Ells, who has passed away at the age of 95.

His great-niece, Vinna Moore, has submitted several photos on behalf of the family that showcase his life, his friends, and his family.

Bunk will be greatly missed at this year’s Remembrance Day Service in Kentville, which Moore says he always looked forward to being part of.

“Rarely did he miss one. It's seems rather fitting his service is this week,” she said.

Bunk’s service will be live streamed from the White Family Funeral Home’s website, at www.whitefamilyfuneralhome.com.

On the right side of the home page, click on Mr. Ells’ name, with a link called ‘Video of Funeral,’ on the page’s left side.

The streaming will start just prior to the service time of 11:00 a.m.
