Spartans win Regionals

The North Queens Rural High School Spartans Boys Basketball has a lot to celebrate. The team beat the Lockport Greenwave on Feb. 19 to take the Western Regional Division 4 banner.

The fans came out in numbers to support their local club; the final score was Spartans 96, Greenwave 76. High scorers for North Queens were Joel Frail with 21 points and Brandon Forrest with 19 points. The North Queens squad is now off to Provincials in Lockport on March 4-6, 2010.

Congratulation goes out to the Spartans and their coach Ryan Merry for a great game. All the best in your pursuit of the Provincial Division 4 Senior Boys Basketball banner. WE BELIEVE, Good Luck at Provincials.
