The Lady Warriors qualified for the provincials for the second year in a row after their first game on Friday by defeating Millwood High School 82 to 51. Coach Irvin MacKenzie stated that this was great to see after the team's disappointing losses at the Regionals last weekend.
The girls came out from the start getting the job done and finished strong with all players getting in on the action. High scorers for Liverpool were Chelsea Whalen, 29, and Kelsey MacKenzie, 25, while Sarah Smith and Mariah Farquhar each contributed with 11.
The next day the ladies defeated the Forest Heights Falcons 75 to 69. High scorers for the Lady Warriors were Chelsea Whalen, 25, Mariah Farquhar, 16, and Sarah Smith, 15, while Kelsey MacKenzie added 11.
