Home game on Sunday

South Shore Wild battled hard on Saturday night - Nov. 17 - against Valley Keiths, but came up short losing 6-5.

A new player from Chester, Spencer Page had two goals with Mike Gatzke, Justin Hanley and Dylan Killam rounding out the scoring.

Assisting was Justin MacDonnell, Allan Reid and Sim Robart with two. .Justin Hanley, Nick Handspiker and Spencer Page each had one assist. The Wild were behind 4-2 in the third period, but charged back with three goals, only to have the Keiths tie the game 5-5 at the seven-minute mark.

The Valley team would score again before the end. A valant effort by everyone was evident, especially goalie Nat Dagley, right to the end.

Ticket winners of the Ultramar gas draw were; first prize, Al Doucet; second prize, Allen Bolivar; and third prize, Holly Bolivar.

The next home games will be against New Waterford 2 p.m. Dec. 2 and the Clare Lions on Dec. 8 at 8:15 p.m.
