Put on your mittens and stock up on hot chocolate because the Ladies Provincial Curling Championship, the Scottie Tournament of Heart is coming to town.
The tournament will be held at the Liverpool Curling Club and will kick off on Jan. 23.
Eight teams in total will be competing and as of right now, six teams have qualified.
The current six teams are, Mary-Anne Arsenault, Kay Zinck, Meaghan Smart, Jill Mouzar, Penny Larocque and Nancy McConnery.
The remaining two teams will have a chance to qualify during the Jan. 13 weekend.
Liverpool Curling Club President, Greg Thorburne says the first draw will be at 3 p.m. Jan 23 with opening ceremonies taking place at 6:30 p.m.
There will be two draws on Wednesday and Thursday, both 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Friday will have draws in the morning and afternoon with tie breakers if required, says Thorburne.
The quarter finals and semi finals will be held on Jan. 27 and finals will take place at 2 p.m. Jan. 28.
Thorburne says there is no cost and the general public is welcome to come out and watch.
