The Sobeys South Shore Wild have made the playoffs, and are taking on Spryfield Silver and Black Attack in the best of five series.

Last weekend the Wild were in Spryfield to kick off the series. This weekend the playoffs return to Liverpool. The team plays Friday, Feb. 15 at 8:30 p.m. For their community fundraiser a dollar from every ticket sold will go to the Liverpool Regional High School Teens Against Drinking and Driving group.

Depending on the outcome of the games in Spryfield and Friday's game, the Wild will be on the ice the next night at the same time. This game will mark the final fundraiser of the season, with the funds going to the Queens County Skatepark Association.

This season the Wild placed fifth out of nine teams this season, a far cry from when the team first reformed.

"The team and executive has worked very hard this year to bring a winning team to Liverpool and we can't be more pleased with this years outcome," says team spokesperson Shelly Whynot.
