The Barrington Ice Dogs were in town in one of the last games of the regular season for Junior C hockey. It was a close game for the first two periods of play, with both teams trading goals. However by the third period the Wild had pulled ahead, and took the game 6-4.
The Wild was raising money for Ali Cameron, a 21-year-old local who is going through leukemia treatments in Halifax. In total, they raised $700 from the door and donations. Not only that though, there was also a bake table and donation bin set up in the arena to help raise funds. The table took in over $2,100.
Junior C playoffs will begin next weekend.
