In addition, he said, “More local people were in it than before.”

The NorEaster was the first qualifier of the season for the 2008 Canadian Junior Team.

The top three winners in the Boys’ Under-16 category are from Queens County. They are, from first to third, Connor Marsh, Isaac Norman and Logan Kemshead.

Chris Wagner placed second in Longboard.

Ben Marsh and Taylor Connolly placed second and third respectively in the Boys’ Under 18 category.

Ben, Taylor, Isaac, and Connor are going to Portugal in May as part of the Canadian Junior Team for the World Junior Games. They made the team at last year’s qualifiers.
