The letters, already starting to peel a little, looked dangerously close to blowing off. Some of the trim around had let go. It’s amazing we didn’t get sited for an unsightly premise complaint.
The sign was finished a few months ago, but the weather sure wasn’t cooperating for us. March was on the cold side, not fun for putting a sign up. Two months of rain sure didn’t help the matter.
However a lucky break last week gave the folks at the Queens Association of Supported Living, also the ones who designed and made the sign, a chance to put it up.
So stop by and have a look, and take this as a sign The Queens County Advance still has a long future ahead of it.
