On the 29th of April 2010 a male resident of Lunenburg County was charged with driving while suspended (revoked) when his vehicle was stopped in Brooklyn on Highway 3. He faces a charge under Section 287 of the Motor Vehicle Act. His vehicle was seized and turned over to the responsibility of the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
On the 29th of April 2010 the Lakeview Restaurant in North Queens reported damage to their picnic table sometime overnight. There are no suspects in this incident.
On the 30th of April 2010 a male resident of Queens County was charged with driving while suspended (revoked) when his vehicle was stopped in White Point on Highway 3. He faces a charge under Section 287 of the Motor Vehicle Act and that vehicle seized as well.
On the 3rd of May 2010 a hit and run is believed to have occurred on Henry Hensey Drive in Liverpool. A white GMC Sierra truck was struck by an unknown vehicle which failed to remain at the scene.
On the 4th of May 2010 Police apprehended a Prohibited Driver in Liverpool. The 41 year old male from Chester faces a Prohibited Driving charge under the Criminal Code, a Breach of Probation charge and two Motor Vehicle Act charges. This vehicle was also seized by Police.
Early Thursday morning (12:15am) on the 6th of May 2010, emergency response agencies were called to a structure fire at 5823 Highway 3 in White Point. An outbuilding on that property was completely engulfed in flames when fire and police services arrived on scene. The building is believed to have contained a vehicle, four wheeler and appliances. The owners of the property were contacted by Police and there is believed to be insurance on the building. The exact cause is not certain at this time and the matter remains under investigation.
