On the 12th of April two seasonal cottages were broken into in the Caledonia area.

On the 13th of April a 15 foot Coleman canoe (orange in color) was stolen from the Port Medway area.

On the 14th of April a Husquvarna chainsaw was stolen from the Milton area.

On the 17th of April a nineteen (19) year old male was arrested and later released on conditions following an allegation of Child Abuse in Liverpool. It is alleged that a five (5) year old girl sustained injuries, not life threatening. The matter is still under investigation and criminal charges have not yet been laid in this incident. Community Service and Child Welfare have been called in to assist.

On the 16th of April RCMP members on patrol came upon a party at Beach Meadows Beach. There were a number of youth present, some of whom were underage, that were taken home to their parents by Police. Only one adult male was present at the time and he and his parents were spoken to by Police the following day. Although there is no evidence to suggest that this adult male supplied liquor to minors, Police warn that supplying liquor to minors is an offence under the Liquor Control Act and carries a hefty penalty.

If you have information on these crimes or any others please contact Queens RCMP at 354-5721 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477
