RCMP have laid charges in the theft and misuse of drugs from an Emergency Health Services (EHS) station.

Charges under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act were laid against Kenneth Wade Cosh:

-Possession of a Schedule I substance to wit: morphine

-Possession of a Schedule IV substance - Sec 4 CDSA

-Breach of trust

-Theft Under $5000

-Forgery

 On Feb. 15, officials from EHS alerted the RCMP of allegations of thefts and misuse of drugs by an EHS paramedic in Liverpool. 

On Feb. 19 at 8 p.m., a search warrant was executed at a residence on Wolfe Street in Liverpool where syringes and medical containers were seized.

Cosh is scheduled to appear in Liverpool Provincial Court on April 16.
