On Jan. 12, Heart and Stroke Foundation volunteers will be in Liverpool at the Queens Place Emera Centre to get things underway. The Foundation’s annual heart rally is an opportunity for those participating in Heart Month to pick up their fundraising materials and to learn more about the impact of the Foundation’s work in Nova Scotia.
Time: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Queens Place Emera Centre, 50 Queens Place Drive, Liverpool

1 p.m. - 1:50 p.m. – Heart and Stroke Foundation emcee
2 p.m. – AED demonstration by EHS paramedic
About Heart Rallies
More than 100 Heart Month volunteers are expected to pick up their canvassing kits for February at one of five special events organized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation on Jan. 12 and 13 in support of Heart Month. Events are taking place in Bedford, Liverpool, Truro, Port Hawkesbury and Sydney. Heart Rallies will also take place on Jan. 19 in Halifax, Dartmouth, Yarmouth and New Glasgow.
