Queens County's radio station is under new ownership. The QCCR Investors group announced on May 29 that an agreement has been reached with Alex J Walling to acquire the assets and equipment of radio station CJQC (QCCR).

The group says the agreement reached is the result of many hours of dedicated hard work and negotiations by both parties.

“This is good news for the community as it is our plan to continue to operate QCCR as a community radio station” stated Dan MacLaren and Dick Henneberry speaking on behalf of the investors group.

Change of ownership will take place June 1, 2012.

I was wondering if I would still be able to get the radio station in British Columbia through my computer. I love to listen to the music and news from my husbands home town of Liverpool. Thank you Patricia Freeman
