A house fire in Liverpool is under investigation, after the home was extensively damaged Sunday evening.

The fire broke out after 7 p.m. On May 27 on Old Falls Road. Fire crews from Liverpool, North Queens, Greenfield, and Port Medway responded.

Liverpool Deputy Chief David Payzant says there was heavy smoke coming out of the building when they arrived. Fire crews entered through the rear of the building, and quickly knocked the fire back. Once the blaze was out, the departments concentrated on salvaging what was left in the building.

No one was hurt in the fire.
