Nova Scotia Music Week went out with a party on Nov. 11, filling Queens Place Emera Centre for the Gala Awards Show. The evening was to hand out the major awards for the evening, but also showcase some of the best talent Nova Scotia has to offer.

Music Nova Scotia Entertainer of the Year - Ben Caplan

 Earlier that day at the Music and Industry Awards Brunch, a pair of Queens County residents picked up awards as well. Local music promotions company SpinCount Music & Promotions picked up a pair of awards, one for Company of the Year and the other for Kimberly Sinclair for Industry Professional of the Year.

Pam Samson picked up the award for Volunteer of the Year, her second from Nova Scotia Music Week in three years.
