A pilgrimage to Bethlehem at Milton church

Published on December 21, 2008

Youth and volunteer adults from the Milton Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) After School Group spent numerous weeks building structures, rehearsing their lines and creating costumes for the church’s first “Live Nativity Bethlehem Walk” Dec. 19-20. Despite the frigid temperatures on the first night, the congregation raised well over $400 in freewill donations (“alms for the poor”) for Habitat for Humanity from the more than 200 people that enjoyed the shepherd-led tours.
