Starting on Dec. 3 blood collection services will be done at Queens Place Emera Centre, based out of the Teen Access Zone.

Topics :
Queens General Hospital , Queens Place

The reason for the move is to help reduce the traffic going into Queens General Hospital while the renovations to the lower parking lot are being done.

The move is planned to last for most of December, though no final date has been given. Updates will be sent out by South Shore Health as the situation changes.

For now though, blood collection will be done from Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.

All urine specimens should be dropped off at the Queens Place location as well. Water testing samples will continue to be done at Queens General Hospital.
