Tricia Jarratt, recent archaeology graduate of the University of New Brunswick and Dr. David Black, a professor at the university, take measurements to document one of the ancient Mi’kmaq shell middens.

The tour groups were able to learn about and see archaeology students from the University of New Brunswick collect samples from the shell middens first hand.
