Schools closing early in Queens and Lunenburg counties

The South Shore Regional School Board has announced (Jan. 7) that all schools in Queens and Lunenburg counties will close two hours early today because of the impending weather.

Environment Canada is reporting that snow will change to ice pellets this afternoon before changing to freezing rain late in the afternoon.

Predicted snow and ice pellet accumulation amounts are two to four centimetres.
