What is the biggest problem facing the district you are running in?
A new school for South Queens which is now just breaking ground and all of the above for all Queens – North and South.
What will you do to address these issues?
With all power being in the Department of Education, you can only have your district board get parents, SACs, teachers and MLAs get together and present a great case for what we need.
Where and/or in what field do you work?
I have worked in Bowater for 37 years, retired as industrial instrumentation technician, installed lifeline for four years, golf shop one year, school board three years, various positions at the curling club and golf course. Past co-coordinator for international students, host parents for eight years. Right now I am working as a volunteer at the curling club to get the new chiller and fireproof room ready for start up for the upcoming season.
What is something you consider unique about yourself?
I don’t think I am unique in any way maybe different in some ways from others. Where do you set the bar with all the different personalities we have in Queens County?
