Every year there are people for whom Christmas is a lonely time, especially Christmas Day.  Empty nesters whose children and grandchildren are living elsewhere, widows and widowers, couples alone in the community, people who would like to have dinner with others, all have reasons for coming together on Christmas day.

Trinity Church

Last Christmas, Trinity Church hosted a Christmas day dinner for about 25 people who shared together in fellowship and fun, some helping to cook, some helping to clear up, one family of a mother and two daughters taking time from their own family celebration to come and serve for an hour. Others volunteered the day before to help with some of the preparations even though they were going to be spending the day and the dinner with their own families.

The dinner was appreciated by all who came, and we all appreciated the support of the community in terms of donations of food and funds to make it a success.

Once again Trinity Church will be hosting a Community Christmas Day Dinner for those who have no one to share the meal or the day with.  The Dinner will be served at 4 p.m.  There is no charge for the meal because of the gracious support of the community.

If you would like to come, please register by calling 354-3533, and leaving a message with your name and phone number.  If you would like to contribute or volunteer, please call the same number and leave a message.  We will get in touch with you the next day the church office is open.
