Two of the four partners have pulled out of the project, according to a press release. The remaining partners Stew Horton and Barry Tomalin still want to move forward however.
"We believe the value of the project and the need within our community is strong," they said.
In the original plan, Rovers Quay at Shipyard Point would consist of four one-story buildings containing a total of 18 high quality rental units. The inner court building will contain six two-story units. It was hoped construction would start this fall, though that will now be pushed ahead.
They said the interest has been strong for the units, and they have received a lot of support from the community for the project.
