A time for history at Privateer Days Encampment
The Kings Orange Rangers Privateer Days Grand Time Line Encampment was the largest 18th and 19th century re-enactment camp west of Halifax, according to Lt. Charles Norman. Over 100 re-enactors and 61 tents were set up at Fort Point in Liverpool. Shown are scenes from both the encampment and a re-enacted battle between the Americans and the Liverpool militia. Most are courtesy of Paul McGrath.
